Order and the Divine

I was thinking tonight about Gods place of order and placement in our lives and i remember back to a sermon i preached out of Ezekiel. In the first few chapters (2-3) it is God calling Ezekiel to what He has for him to do. He was sent to the Israelites as a watchmen and he was to tell them the words the Lord had given him.As you read these chapters it is very obvious that God knew that Israel would be very obstinate to Ezekiel because they were very obstinate towards the Lord himself. Yet the Lord called Ezekiel and sent him anyway. The part that i want to highlight is in verses 2:8-3:4. I am very intrigued by what the Lord does here with Ezekiel and also very sheepish as to what i expect in my walk with Him. I look at the divine order that the Lord had set out for Ezekiel in the whole of His life but particularly with regards to the scroll. God told him to eat the scroll because He desired to put His words in his mouth because that would be the only way that Ezekiel would be able to accomplish what the Lord had set out for him to do. He says to him in verse 3 of ch. 3 to fill his stomach with the scroll. The Lord wants us to go out in nothing less then what He has for us and there is a specific time of preparation and divine order for God's work. We must fill ourselves with the very words and life of Christ and it is in that that we are His ambassadors. To deny God the time to work in us what He will is to in essence say that we are just waiting for our chance to 'change' the kingdom the way we want. We have dreams and aspirations for what i want to do and how i want to serve the Lord and often in that i find that i have not allowed the Lord to do in me as He desires.I am His workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works. And it is not of ourselves but only of Him. Ezekiel could have told the Lord, "Lord they are not even going to listen to me" which is exactly what the Lord said, but the fact that the Lord was sending Him anyway tells me that the Lords desire was not merely for His people Israel but also for His man Ezekiel. How incredible to think that the Lord would want to prepare us and have such a divine order for our lives just so that we could affect the world!!
I know that there are so many things that i want to do in my life... I want to see God do something in this generation that will affect the following generations for eternity. I want to see the sick healed and walking in their giftings and the Spiritual strongholds on people and nations be demolished and instead a strong tower of truth and power raised high. If i may be so bold, i want to prophesy to these nations and strongholds and see God use my life for His glory, and you know what i have no idea how any of this is going to come to pass but i know that He is preparing me right now and has been doing so since before i knew Him and before i was even created. I know that i have something to live for and therefore something to give and pour myself into and out for.I want to encourage you where you are at in your walk................BE FAITHFUL AND PERSEVERANT IN EVERYTHING, HE IS GOOD! He knows the order of your life because it is His own life in you and He is using you for His glory, at all times.I would be so interested in hearing the dreams that God has put into your heart for your life from the crazy to the 'mundane' so if you read this please write and tell me your dreams and what you feel God is doing in the midst of them.
"The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue to know the word that sustains the weary, He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears and i have not been rebellious and i have not drawn back." Isaiah 50:4-5 This is the verse that i feel God has placed in my heart as a seal for my calling. I pray that it encourages you all. love you.
